Saturated by the passing of time
Stolen memories that I cannot find
Wasting away by the pounding pain
Like rusting metal in the pouring rain
Sun taken down by the lonely night
Dark clouds covering the only light
I stroll the night like a blind man
Take in the smells as best that I can
Foul smell of a broken love in the air
Suppressing sweet smell of love once there
Mist covers me like a blanket of heat
I gobble up loneliness like it was a treat
Sun fights to take back its rightful place
The Moon fades into a fall of disgrace
Another day and night gone as before
I fear that I will not see many more
